This year is my first year in college and the end of my first semester. I’m making this site as a final project for my English comp class. I’m going to tell you about my best and most interesting work that I did in this class.

Earlier in the semester we wrote an essay about a life changing experience. I wrote about my trip to the united states/Canada boundary waters. My scout troop and I went on a 103 mile canoe trip in the United States and Canada. It was a 10 day trip we traveled over 10 miles a day and we camped every night. we had about three boys in each canoe and we paddled all day. The food wasn’t so great except the fish that we caught that was great there were more mosquitoes than I have every seen there were times where you had to go in the tent because the mosquitoes were so thick you would breathe them if you were outside. we also portaged over three miles. A portage is when you carry your canoe to another body of water those were challenging because are canoes and packs were heavy. There were plenty of things about this trip I didn’t like including the bugs and the hardships. overall the trip was life changing like a challenge that I accomplished .this essay was the assignment that I enjoyed the most , to be honest I hate writing essays but this one was enjoyable it made me remember again that trip and it gave me a reason to start talking to people who went with me on the trip

It was a great time; I was calling people I hadn’t talked to in about a year and reminiscing. The essay was only supposed to three pages but I probably written about ten pages. This was the most fun essay I have ever written.
